The design intention behind Maybelline’s Falsies Surreal Extensions Mascara is centered on the concept of "extending your lash reality" by bridging the gap between physical beauty and digital, metaverse-inspired aesthetics. Aiming to captivate Gen Z and Millennial consumers, Maybelline designed this product to deliver the dramatic, surreal impact of professional salon lash extensions. This futuristic product design was further brought to life through a groundbreaking marketing campaign starring "May," Maybelline's first-ever digital avatar emboitment, who co-starred alongside global ambassador Gigi Hadid to showcase a lash look so otherworldly that only a virtual being could fully represent its boundary-pushing effect.
